I had a group of images that I wanted to center. After searching around for ages for the right solution, I came across this today. Turns out just set display:inline-block for the child div.

Dump this code anywhere in Theme’s template functions.php file (For example, functions.php file for a Theme named “default” would probably reside in the directory wp-content/themes/default/functions.php):

If for some reason list-style-type doesn’t work, don’t forget to add display: list-item; to your list.

Remove caption 10px width

WordPress adds a 10px width to your images if you were to include a caption. Dumb but who knows why. See solution here. Copy the code from user jpadie, save it as a .php file (filename can be anything) in wp-content/plugins. Then login to wp-admin and activate the plugin.
